Comment

The Château Pouyanne vineyard extends over a very beautiful terroir of 55 hectares, 40 km south-east of Bordeaux, in the town of Budos. The hillside, varied, is very gravelly at the top and clay-limestone at the bottom. Environmental protection has been a major issue for producers who practice sustainable cultivation (monitoring of vine treatments and choice of inputs, water and effluent management, sustainable fertilization, biodiversity, selective sorting and recycling) since for many years with monitoring by the Gironde Chamber of Agriculture.

Tasting

A superb youthful garnet color. On the nose, this bouquet of character combines a very present minerality with enveloped and sweet aromas of fruit cream (blackberry, blackcurrant, morello cherry). The palate is rich and delicious, this cuvée generous in red fruit flavors openly favors frankness and fruity freshness.
