Comment

Family owned since 1952, it is now the 2nd generation who have taken over the property for 30 years. The Reyberol family, originally from Dordogne, came to Gironde to develop a transport business, then became the owner of a small one-hectare vineyard with clay-limestone soil, along the Dordogne, near famous names like Figeac and Cheval Blanc. The vineyard has developed over the years, respecting ancestral farming traditions and modern oenology methods. From pruning to harvest, the most attentive care is given to the vineyard to obtain grapes of optimal quality. Vinification is traditional in thermo-regulated concrete vats, with long maceration for better extraction. Aging in vats.

Tasting

Sustained and brilliant raspberry red color. Fine nose of violet and cashew. When stirred, notes of morello cherry and black plum. The palate is supple and fruity, on the register of ripe red fruits and liquorice. True to its name, this balanced wine will perfectly accompany your red meats or mature cheeses, or traditional dishes like rabbit with mustard. Serve between 16°C and 18°C. Keeps 4 to 5 years.
