Separated from Pomerol by the Barbanne stream, the Lalande de Pomerol terroir is made up of alluvial terraces. To the west the commune of Lalande likes flat horizons, while to the east that of Néac rises and becomes more hilly. As in most Libourne appellations, the Merlot grape variety is very present. It produces pleasant young wines.

Tasting

The material expresses itself nicely, a supple attack but with a certain strength over time. The tannins remain smooth and seem to blend delicately, giving a slight distinguished aspect to the whole. It is at its most pleasant in the finish, a long and surprisingly powerful finish. It is possible that the wine evolves further to find additional harmony.
