Martine and Serge Costes took over the Domaine de Cause in 1994, 15 hectares of paradise located in the town of Soturac, in the magnificent hamlet of Cavagnac, where the houses with golden stones have for centuries lined the path taken by the pilgrims of Saint- Jacques leaving from Rocamadour. To do this, they abandoned their city life in Auvergne and trained in viticulture to become the 4th generation of winegrowers within the family. Since then, the estate has made a place for itself, and what a place it is! It regularly obtains scores above 90 out of 100 internationally and appears in the rankings of the main French guides.

Tasting

Planted in 2013, part of the vines are intended for the production of this viognier. Aged in vats, it presents an intense fruitiness reminiscent of peach, apricot and scents of linden are also found on the palate, with a suave roundness, all in a beautiful freshness brought by the terroir of Domaine de Cause.
