Aging for 12 months in barrels (40% new barrels). The story goes that a monastery was established in these lands. We can trust the knowledge of the men of the church of the time to develop the best wines. In particular, they knew how to choose the most beautiful terroirs suitable for breeding the most precious nectars. Abandoned for a long time, this exceptional property was an obvious choice for Dominique Haverlan who took over the estate by signing his first vintage in 2015. It is clear that through tenacity and patience this operation quickly became part of the this prestigious designation. 8 ha resting on fine gravel mixed with black sand on a clay-gravelly subsoil.

Tasting

This vintage reveals an intense garnet color. On the nose the overall structure is deep, it reveals fine hints of spices as well as delicate “toasted” notes. On the palate this vintage seduces us with its attack (red fruits), the latter is supple and distinguished. The wine offers depth and intensity. Its finale confirms the whole.
