Maison Brotte, an independent family estate for four generations, was founded in 1931 in Chateauneuf-du-Pape by Charles Brotte, one of the pioneers of bottling Rhône valley wines. In the wake of the renowned Fiole du Pape created in 1952 by the Brotte family, the Fiole Côtes du Rhône will be the ally of reunions with friends and family. Its red fruits and its gourmet character will take you on the roads of the Rhône Valley. A tasty getaway between the Grenache vines swept by the Mistral. To be enjoyed in a friendly atmosphere. Manual harvest and separate aging of each variety for 6 months in oak barrels before assembly.

Tasting

Nose with fruity and spicy notes evolving towards aromas reminiscent of blackcurrant and prune. The attack on the palate is fresh and full, supple, fruity with dominance of small black fruits and liquorice. Long and pleasant finish. To be enjoyed with leg of lamb, truffled foie gras turnover, braised duck with turnips, Provençal stew with black olives, Armoricaine prime rib and dauphinois gratin, strong cheese platter, chocolate tart.
