Since 1705, the Malet Roquefort family has been present at the famous Château La Gaffelière, 1er Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion. Heir to the property in 1958, Count Léo de Malet Roquefort never stopped working to reveal its full potential. In 1999, during a passionate discussion about wine and the terroir to which they are so attached, Léo de Malet Roquefort and his son Alexandre expressed a common desire: to be able to transmit and share their love of the Bordeaux vineyard, and more specifically that of Saint -Emilion through a product accessible to all enthusiasts. It is since then that the adventure has continued as a family.

Tasting

Intense garnet color, it presents on the nose scents of violets, red fruits, a touch of vanilla, finely spicy. The palate is ample, fleshy, balanced, with melted wood and silky, coated tannins. The finish is persistent and fruity.
