Maison Castel offers you, through its Grande Réserve wines, all the quintessence of emblematic grape varieties of France. Grape varieties selected and vinified with particular attention. An internationally renowned white grape variety, Chardonnay reveals itself with singularity in the terroirs of Pays d'Oc, with its Mediterranean climate and great diversity of soils, which allow it to assert a strong personality with an aromatic palette of tropical fruits. For its Chardonnay Grande Réserve, Maison Castel selected the best plots from three departments of the appellation: Hérault and the semi-slopes of the Villafranchian terraces, for complexity and depth; the Gard and its clay-gravelly soils, whose precocity brings power and richness; then finally Aude, a later clay-limestone terroir which brings tension and freshness.

Tasting

Its color reveals a straw yellow with slight brown reflections. Its intense and complex nose with aromas of exotic fruits (mango, pineapple), also distilling some finely toasted notes. Its ample and fresh mouth, revealing a smooth and long wine on the palate with a delicately vanilla finish.
