The Montecchiesi estate has belonged to the Dalcero family since 1980, when the brothers Giuseppe and Dario, sons of the founder Augusto, attracted by the great Tuscan wine tradition, decided to dedicate themselves to the production of great red wines, in an area of ​​excellence for this type of wine. To acquire this estate, they had to reluctantly part with part of the estate they had inherited from their father. Convinced of the wine potential of Cortona, they decided to plant new varieties of vines in addition to the existing Sangiovese, specializing in the grape variety that proved particularly suited to this land: Syrah. Thanks to the insight and skills of the Dal Cero family, the vineyard area increased tenfold.

Tasting

A pale pink appearance, the wine opens with striking notes of crisp berries, such as wild strawberry and redcurrant. There are added citrus notes on a voluminous and delicious palate, with a touch of lively acidity and an earthy minerality, which evolves towards a long finish. Conclusion, Miralý is an elegant and intriguing rosé.
